INFINITY LOOP SCARF Mustard, Gold, Dark Yellow Extra Soft Bulky Chunky Wool Acrylic Blend Winter Cowl Loop Snood..Ready to Ship in 2 Days
Gold Mustard Dark Yellow INFINITY LOOP COWL SCARF Incredibly Soft, Warm, and Cozy Goldenrod Infinity Scarf hand-crocheted with a high quality wool/acrylic blend yarn. The color is called Goldenrod: a gorgeous soft gold or mustard color with a bit of an orange hue. The pictures don't capture the detail of this's much more impressive in person. Even though the yarn is categorized as super bulky, it's quite makes wonderful jumbo size stitches while never getting heavy. This scarf weighs about 8.3 oz/235g, a very comfortable weight for a scarf. This yarn is a 50% wool/50% acrylic blend that requires hand-washing & air-drying (which is really the best method of washing for all scarves anyway). Even though I'm irritated by wool myself, I picked this brand of yarn for two main reasons: the incredible softness compared to other wool/acrylic blends and the beautiful colors that this Cozy Wool line carries. If you're allergic to wool, then I wouldn't recommend purchasing this scarf, but I do think it'll be very comfy for everyone else. I usually get very itchy when wearing wool right next to my skin, but with this yarn I'm really not bothered. (: This size is a little unusual for my shop. I normally make narrower infinity scarves, but have been getting many requests for wider and shorter scarves that can be worn over the head. Since my poor mannequin is headless, I don't have any photos illustrating this, but at eight inches wide, it can be worn with one loop around the neck at the same time one loop is pulled up over the head. Yarn Content: 50% Acrylic/50% Wool Yarn Brand: Loops & Thread Cozy Wool Yarn Label Color: Goldenrod Approximate Length (full circumference, unstretched): 52 inches/132 cm Approximate Width: 8 inches/20 cm Thickness: 1/2 inch/1.2 cm This scarf is long enough to be worn as one or two loops. Two loops will transform it into a cozy neck warmer/bulky cowl. This scarf is crocheted “in the round” to eliminate any seams. With infinity scarves, the area where I turn to start new rows will always look a little different from the rest of the scarf, but this can always be worn behind the neck, if desired. An infinity scarf provides versatility in both fashion and function. When worn closely to the neck, this yarn provides warmth, and the more loops around the neck, the warmer it will become. Simply put, the amount of warmth & insulation provided depends purely on the way it’s worn. An Infinity scarf can be worn in a variety of ways… --Can be worn at full length as one large loop. This is good for warmer weather or when used purely as a fashion accessory. In some of the pictures, I have the scarf folded over on itself to create a narrower and thicker option. --Can be worn as two loops at different lengths for a double scarf look. Pull scarf over head, twist in front into a figure 8, pull loop you’ve just created over your head. Adjust to desired lengths. --Can be worn as two loops at equal lengths to create a cowl neck/neck warmer. --Can be worn as two loops, then one loop can be pulled up over the head. CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Wash gently by hand in water not exceeding 30ºC/86ºF. Do not bleach. After extraction of excess water, reshape and dry on a suitable flat surface. Do not iron or press. Do not dry-clean. Note: All yarns come with some degree of "factory residue" that makes the yarn feel a little stiff. This will disappear with normal handling and/or the first wash, bringing out the true softness of the yarn. U.S. SHIPPING: Since the weight of the scarf is more than most of my others, I will be using USPS Priority Mail instead of First Class. For Ready to Ship items, I'll ship the same or next day. For items made to order, I'll ship as soon as I have the scarf finished (within the time-frame stated in the listing title). I use the PayPal/USPS integrated shipping system whenever possible, so you will be provided with a delivery confirmation number by email from PayPal. Most First Class packages take two to four days to be delivered INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: I always combine shipping for multiple orders. I most commonly use USPS First Class International for shipping outside of the US. First Class International may take a longer time to arrive than other services, but it's much more affordable than Priority International (which usually runs $25 or more for a few ounces). Delivery time for international packages is usually 5 to 15 business days. Customs, bad weather, or national holidays can sometimes slow down a package with the occasional shipment taking around 30 days to arrive. This only happens to about 5% of my international shipments. (: As of January 27th, 2013, USPS has raised prices for First Class International, in some cases almost doubling the amount they used to charge. On a positive note, they are starting to include tracking and delivery confirmation as part of the First Class service. They are beginning with Canada and will be adding other countries in the future. International Buyers Please Note: Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to buying. PAYMENTS: I accept PayPal. If you don't have a PayPal account, you will still be able to pay with a credit or debit card through PayPal. You can also pay from your bank account using an E-check (also through the PayPal system), but I won't be able to ship until the check has cleared, PayPal says it's okay to ship and allows me to print out a label. RETURNS: For now, I am not accepting returns, but am completely open to resolving any problems that may occur. I feel the best strategy is to head off any problems before they even happen. If you have any questions whatsoever about any items I am selling, please ask. Thanks for looking! (:
