M Knits's Policies
Welcome to M Knits. Here you will find my policies in regards to payment, shipping, refunds and exchanges, and custom orders.
All payments are made via paypal. All payments must be completed within 24 hours or the transaction will be cancelled.
When an order is placed, I will ship on the following business day. This may change due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances. If, for some reason, I am unable to ship your item the business day after you order it, I will notify you to let you know when you can expect it. I cannot give a time frame for how long an item will take to arrive after it is shipped - this depends on the efficiency of the postal service. I always do tracking on packages as a base part of the shipping cost. Insurance is not included in the regular shipping cost. However, I do offer shipping separately from your regular purchase. A listing to purchase insurance is available in my shop. If you wish to purchase insurance for your items, please see my shop. I will offer flat rate shipping for an extra cost. A listing for flat rate shipping is included in my shop. If you wish to purchase flat rate shipping for your item, please see the listing in my shop. If you are placing orders for certain events such as birthdays, please place your order at least two weeks in advance to ensure that you receive your item in time. Shipping deadlines for the holiday season are as follows: Alaska and Hawaii: December 10 Continental USA: December 15
Refund & Exchange Policy
Due to the nature of the items I sell, I do not anticipate the need for refunds due to damages. I understand, however, that there may be a situation that arises where a customer is not satisfied with their order for whatever reason. Should you place an order and find that you are unsatisfied with that order, you must notify me for a refund or replacement within 36 hours of receiving your item. I will gladly exchange the item for another of equal value in my shop or issue a refund. If you wait longer than 36 hours after receiving your item, no exchange or refund will be made. Also, any items that have been worn more than once or twice or have received stains on them cannot be returned or exchanged.
I gladly accept custom orders. Please keep in mind that custom orders must be similar to what I already sell in my shop. If asked to create a custom order based on something I don't currently sell, I will most likely direct you to another seller who creates items similar to what you are looking for. Please convo me prior to requesting a custom order to ensure that it is something I can fill. Effective December 15, 2014, all custom orders will require a minimum 75% deposit prior to the start of the custom order. This will ensure that both myself and the customer are fully on board with the project and will allow me to purchase supplies for the custom order. *I reserve the right to refuse or stop orders with any customer*
