Nothing can replace the beauty of nature, but an element of nature can make art blossom. I've lived on a tropical island my whole life. The salty sea breeze and tropical vines reaching out on the white sandy beach. I love my home but this earth is too big to stay on a small rock. I recently moved to the desert and found just as much inspiration here. The bone dry heat and the beautiful resilience of the flowers and plants amaze me. The washed out colors of succulents, the bold colors of cactus flowers, and the monochromatic tones of the desert in the horizon. My inspiration comes from the elements of nature I've experienced; to intertwine an element of nature in my macrame. I do believe that by a single hang of a macrame on a wall changes the atmosphere and energy of the space.
