Here is a contemporary sign I've hand routed.
The wood is over 70 years old. I reclaimed it from a local clubhouse renovation project.
This hardwood plaque features inset letters and designs.
The background is stained with "weathered oak", the crucifix was done in aqua then white, a cardinel red heart and cobalt blue stars.
The gun is done in gunmetal gray. I've accented the edges with a scalloped design.
The piece is sealed with semi-gloss clear and should be sheltered from rain and weather.
It weighs 1 lb 14.7 oz.
