I wanted to showcase this beautiful batik fabric.
You can never have too many pincushions on hand can you?
I like them to have a weighted bottom, so I have inserted a small sand sack in the base for added weight.
The finial is a sweet coordinating fabric flower with a small silk flower in the center.
I've hand stitched the turning spot and embellished them with ric-rac.
They are 3.5" by about 2.5" tall and together weigh just under 5 oz.
