Welcome to Jubiri Threads! We are a family run business based in Japan. As an American family we wanted to be able to bring the beauty of Kimono Culture to our friends and family back in the States. We knew it was unrealistic to send kimonos or yukatas stateside. Dressing in full kimono is very difficult and these beautiful garments would be lost to the recesses of the guest room closet. Having seen other crafts made from kimono, my husband encouraged me to make scarves. Thus the birth of Jubiri Threads. Although products may change or evolve our desire for our customers to experience the timeless beauty of Kimono Culture will not. We hope you enjoy our Western twist on an Eastern tradition.
