Hello, my name is J.D. Fields and I am a Southern California native, now transplanted once again to Texas. Growing up I have been able to explored many different media- Fabric Art, Crocheting, Quilting, Embroidery, Painting, and more. This gave me the freedom to experiment and has help too teach's me to understand different forms of art. Since retiring and moving back to North Texas with my husband and youngest son, I now have time to continue to experiment and learn my craft that I love.
I ask for a deposit of 50% down payment before painting any custom order. Layaway plan All item(s) place on layaway requires a 25% NON-REFUNDABLE deposit at the time of placing them on layaway. Note: On your last payment any shipping and insurance charges will be add on your purchase unless other arrangements has been agreed upon.
Shipping Policy Domestic Shipping Policy Thank you for visiting and shopping J.D. Fields Egg artwork, Ornaments and more The following are the terms and conditions that constitute our Shipping & Returns Policy. _________________________________ Shipping Processing Time When I receive the receipt of order, you will receive a confirmation email. Once I receive payment, I will begin the process of packaging and shipping out the order. All are processed with in 7- 12 business days. All orders are not shipped, delivered on weekends or holidays. During the holidays please allow additional days in transit for delivery. All regular shipment do not apply to custom and special order painting. Due to the cost of materials and our environment, your purchase can have many layers of protective, reusable packaging to protect your purchase. Once your item is shipped you will receive an email update with a tracking number(s). The tracking number will be active within 24/48 hours. Shipping Rates/Overnight Shipping * Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. * Overnight delivery is not currently available. Please email us for expedited mailing options. * Delivery delays can occasionally occur. * SHIPPING FEES ARE NOT REFUNDABLE: please make sure all addresses are correct before placing your order, we will not refund shipping fees for wrong address on your part or returned shipments. *Damages: J. D. Fields Artist is not liable for any items damaged or lost during shipping. Orders shipped through the USPS PRIORITY OR FEDEX will be insured for $50.00 to the maximum amount of insurance. You are responsible to file the claim with USPS or FEDEX, J. D. Fields is not responsible for lost packages during transit. J. D. Fields is not responsible to shipments sent to forwarding services or companies. If you place an order and your shipping address is a forwarding address you are responsible for contacting your forwarding company or service to locate your shipment. J. D. Fields is not responsible for weather related damages or delays. Once the package leaves our hands it is out of our control. You can file a damage claim directly through their the USPS OR FEDEX website. *International Shipping Policy At this time I do not ship outside of the continental United States. * Shipping Charges - please note that there may be some items that do not qualify for free shipping. Such items are excluded from our free shipping and standard shipping rates will apply.
Refund & Exchange Policy
Refund Policy While every effort is made to represent my works online as accurately as possible, colors may vary from those on screen. I hope you will be delighted with your purchase and that it gives you many years of enjoyment. If for any reason, you are not happy with your item(s) I have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14-days after receiving you item to request a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase if this is a gift. To start a return, you can contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to me without first requesting a return will not be accepted. You can always contact us for any return question at email@example.com * Damages and issues Please inspect your order upon reception and contact me immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. _________________________________ Exceptions/non-returnable items Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom products (as special orders or personalized items). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items. _________________________________ Exchange The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. _________________________________ Refunds Once the return item is received and inspected, I will contact you and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
Pet Portraits Custom Orders are hand painted with acrylic paint, on your choice of any combination of "canvases" - glass or wood ornaments and yes, actual canvas. I ask for 50% down payment before painting is begun. Custom items are painted in order Payment is received. An estimate of turn around time depends on number of prior orders. For Pet Portraits, I would like to have 4 or more photos of your "fur baby", from which we will select one, and agree in writing, via email. Your selection of "canvas" type will determine the price.
