Sniffles Snuffer. Coughing, sore throat and bronchitis tea.
Growing up in the Ohio Valley, all the kids and adults have to endure countless weather changes and allergies, leading to lots of chest colds, sinus infections and bronchitis. Folks around here try putting menthol rub on their feet, heating pads on gunky chests, anything to loosen up the junk and quiet the cough so they can sleep. This remedy by my Grammy gets my family through the rough months without a zillion trips to the doctor. If we wake up sniffling and coughing, we start swilling cup after cup of this herbal magic and wake up feeling better the next day. Mom liked to put a hot towel from the dryer on my chest while I drank this tea growing up. The hot towel is optional, but the tea is a must. Steep this tea in hot water for 15-20 minutes and drink it down. I like to add a little sugar and a sprinkle of ground cloves to mine. Each order contains 10 teabags.
