Answer: Labels can fit other bottles other than alcohol. To see how your label will fit on an existing bottle/jar/etc. measure the current label and order the label size accordingly or just message me and I can suggest the best size (or even make a custom size!) ♥ Q: Are these labels a one size fits all and will they cover the existing label on the bottle/jar/etc.? Answer: Nearly every brand has a different bottle/jar shape and different label size. Therefore, these labels are impossible to be a 'one size fits all' to cover existing labels; these labels are more of a 'one-size-fits-most'. However, if your label does not entirely cover the existing label, recommendations are below 'How to apply your label') on what to do! ♥ Q; How do I apply the label? Answer: Keep the label away from ANY part of the bottle that starts to contour/taper. Otherwise it will crinkle. It only takes a small change in the bottle's shape to make a label crinkle! When in doubt, trim the label at the top and/or bottom with scissors before peeling off the back. When applying, hold the label on both sides and start by letting the middle of the label stick first. Then rub the label outwards on the left side with your fingers, then the right side (rub from the middle towards the edges) ♥ Q: If my label gets placed crooked, can I take off and reaaply? Answer: Once your label is placed, DO NOT try to take off. You will most likely rip the label. These are very sticky and generally do not allow for reapplying. ♥ Q: Do you recommend certain types of wine or bottle shapes? Answer: I don't recommend using odd shaped bottles unless you've specifically requested a custom size. For WINE, use bottles with tall bodies: https://www.winesandspiritsacademy.com/blog/wine-bottle-anatomy/ - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - HOW TO APPLY YOUR LABEL - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - OPTION 1 I recommend this option since the labels are not completely opaque and less chances of bubbles occurring! ♥ Peel off as much of the existing label on the bottle by using a wire brush (the same kind to remove dish grime), a rag or flat side of a butter knife and pushing down away from your body. ♥ Dry bottle with towel (make sure bottle is completely dry!) ♥ Peel off label backing and stick! OPTION 2 Quicker option but not as clean of a look in my opinion!! ♥ If the new label is larger than the existing label, simply peel off label backing and place over! ♥ If the new label is not larger than the existing label, turn the bottle over! The back label is usually smaller than the front. However, if your new label has a white background, some of the existing label may show through so I advise option 1. If you get an air bubbles, gently use your fingers to push them to the edges.
