I handcraft each of my rings using inlay material such as ruby, emerald, mother of pearl, amethyst, rose quartz, pyrite and meteorite, to name a few.
On my lathe, I sand the rough inlay material with the following grits; 80, 120, 240, 600, 1,500, 3,000 and 7,000.
Then I seep-up my lathe to 3,500rpm and use three diamond polishing pastes to achieve a mirror finish.
