Macrame Wall Sculpture
Hello! Thank you for viewing my artwork :). You are viewing a wall hanging that I have designed using macrame. Macrame is a design formed out of knots and is done by hand without the use of a needle or hook. Macrame is believed to be originated from the 13th century artisans. The Spanish word macrame is derived from the Arabic word migramah, roughly translated as “striped towel”, “ornamental fringe” or “embroidered veil.” The macrame that I have created is hung by a kulu stick. The kulu stick has a beautiful winding curve about it that adds a bit of an ethereal look. Each wall hanging is knotted with positive energy and made in a positive environment. They are made to uplift your space using art and color. These hangings add a positive vibe to any home space, yoga studio, meditation room, reiki room, or office.
