Introduction

Here you will find lots of functional yet fun crocheted items from hats to scarves to bags. I am gradually building the shop and creating more inventory so make sure you check back often to see what's new. Most crocheted items are on a made to order basis and can take anywhere from 7 to 21 days to get made and shipped out.

Payment Policy

I have a 48 hour cancellation policy on custom orders, ready to ship items, and made to order items. All orders with Priority Express as the shipping option will ship out within 14 days of cleared payment.

Shipping Policy

Shipments include tracking numbers as well as postal insurance. I ship on Tuesdays and Fridays. This means that my postal carrier is scheduled to pick up packages from my home on these days. I do my best to ensure that orders completed over the weekend are shipped on Tuesdays and orders completed during the week are shipped on Fridays. Shipping typically takes 3 to 5 business days to arrive at the destination from date of shipment using first class shipping, 2-3 business days using priority, and guaranteed 2 day using priority express for US orders. International shipping times vary. All priority express orders are given top priority and are considered rush orders ensuring they ship out within 14 days of cleared payment. This shop is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen items due to the United States Postal Service. We work hard to properly package each item to prevent any type of damage during shipping. Shipping insurance is automatically added to this product. Priority and Priority Express shipping choices automatically include insurance. Should the item be damaged the shop will contact USPS for a claim on your behalf. You can decide whether you'd like a new item made or be reimbursed 100% including shipping costs. Shipping time does vary country to country. So far I have shipped to 5 different countries and have seen that most items arrive within 15 days of shipping. Unfortunately customs can occasionally slow down the shipping process and there isn’t anything I can do about that. International orders have to wait 30 days past shipping date to file a claim due to customs holds or non-delivery.

Other Policies

FAQ’s 1. Do you do custom orders? a. Yes I do! Most items listed in the shop can be customized with alternative colors, some can be personalized, and we can often create much smaller or larger versions of the items as well. We also take custom order requests. If you have an idea of a crocheted item and would like to bring it to reality, begin a conversation and I will see what I can do to fulfill your request 2. Are all of your items made to order? a. Most of my items are made to order. I have limited space at this time to hold stock and this also allows for more customization opportunities for you the customer. 3. Do you personalize items? a. Yes I do! All blankets and most clothing items can be personalized with 3”-5” tall letters at the cost of $3/ letter. Number of letters varies for each blanket. Bags and hats are on a case by case basis. Some designs allow for a personalization option while others do not. 4. Where are your items made? a. All of my items are created in my home. While this is a smoke free home, it is not a pet free home. I have 3 short hair dogs who are not allowed in my work area and no cats. Every item is prewashed in a detergent free wash cycle and then either air dried or dried on low heat to reduce any pet hair exposure. 5. What is the process for your orders? a. When an order comes in I print it and add it to my order que. Items are then hand crafted in order. They are then ran through a detergent free wash cycle to lock in stitches and ensure there are no color bleeds between the yarns. Then each item is either air dried or dried on low heat in the dryer. I then lay each item out and photograph both front and back with invoice visible, verify measurements, package, print and affix shipping labels, and place in shipment pickup area. My carrier is scheduled to come to my door on Tuesdays and Fridays to pick up orders. 6. What type of materials do you use for your crochet items? a. I typically use Red Heart Super Saver yarns for my items. It is 100% acrylic, very durable (holds up well to repeated washes) and is reasonably priced. Upon request I will purchase wool blends or cotton yarns for orders but these types of yarns are more expensive than the acrylic and increases the pricing points of items. 7. Where do your item designs come from? a. Unless otherwise stated, every item sold in my shop is designed by me. Each item has went through an extensive design process where I develop a pattern, test the pattern, test the item for durability, and then have others test the design as well using different yarn brands and types. 8. What is the design process for your patterns? a. I begin with an idea, sketch it out, pick out a colorway, and then resketch in those colors along with creating small notes on stitch types. I then begin the design. I photograph each round/row to use for replication and to include in the finished pattern for later publishing. After competition I post the pattern in my testing group and my testers test the designs using different yarn brands and types. I include this information in all of my pattern notes. After the testers have gone over the pattern, I recreate the design again, edit and add pictures, and then send the pattern to my editor to double check stitch counts and make sure any errors were corrected from the testing process. Then I upload the pattern to my shops on Ravelry, Craftsy, and Etsy.
