Craftymama Creations 2014

Welcome to the world of Craftymama Creations. I began my crochet business in November of 2014 as a way to earn money to give my son a Christmas. I only made TMNT, Minion, and Frozen hats at the time. As I realized the potential this craft had I began to expand my horizons into reading and writing patterns, the designing process, and how to market myself. I finally found a job/ business I could do at home that my health issues would have no effect on. I began writing simple, basic hat design patterns and posting them to Ravelry. Then as my ambition grew I recruited testers to test my patterns using different types of yarns so that my customers would always know what yarns work, and which ones do not with my designs. Those notes are always included in the pattern notes. As my fibromyalgia and Rheumatoid Arthritis worsened I began buying ergonomic hooks. The bigger the handle, the easier it became for me to work on my orders and designs. As of JUNE 2017, I have created and published over 100 original designs. I do custom orders, personalization's for some orders, and can create most cartoon characters into fun, functional hats and bags. I crochet and design for a livelihood, not a hobby.
