This teardrop shaped bronze metal clay pendant features a beautiful dark green prong-set natural Washington jade that is reminiscent of the evergreen trees that Washington State is known for. With a simple texture imprinted into the metal clay itself before being fired in a kiln to achieve the metal state, this handcrafted pendant is a great accessory for the sweater weather in fall and winter as well as the flowy blouse and tank top wardrobe of spring and summer. Jade is also the mystical birthstone for March as well as the stone that traditionally represents a 12 year anniversary. A simple bail and thin rolo chain that measures 24 inches long completes this pendant making it ready to wear right out of the box. Bronze is an alloy of copper and tin so the metal will eventually tarnish as well as darken if the proper care is not taken. While I do use Renaissance Wax as a sealant to slow the process, no sealant is permanent. Therefore, it is my recommendation to keep your pendant sealed in the included anti-tarnish bag when not worn. I also include a polishing cloth with every order to allow you to keep your pendant looking as gorgeous as the day it arrived. All pendants are packaged in their own gift box.
