This unique free-form copper pendant is for those who require something a little different in their jewelry box. It was shaped and textured out of metal clay using a swirl pattern that mimics the salmon orange and yellow colored Galah Creek agate that it features. The agate has been prong-set using copper wire and the pendant is held by two jump rings on a 22 inch rolo chain that is finished with a lobster clasp. Copper has been used for centuries for its medicinal and decorative properties and agates are one of the first recorded stones to be used by many cultures. Known as the stone of balance, agate is a grounding stone that has excellent protection and healing energy The only sealant applied to the metal is Renaissance Wax which will help slow the process of the metal tarnishing but not completely stop it. This is why I recommend keeping the pendant sealed when not worn and include an anti-tarnish storage bag. The copper will also darken naturally with time, an effect that can be reversed by using a polishing cloth for those who do not enjoy this effect. This pendant will come gift boxed for ease of shipping and giving.
