I'm a local {Handmade in the USA} artist out of Michigan. Paint Creek Hill is my little shop that I have had now for over five years. The idea came about one day as I was sitting at my art desk in the back room of our condo off a little creek. I was watching a tiny gray mouse that appeared one day under our bird feeder. He was grabbing the seed that had fallen. He would gather up as much as he could of it and quickly dash back into the woods...... Before too long... I started drawing him, gave him the name {Max Basset} and developed a personality to go along with his cute little self. As I watched him under that feeder, He had such determination in his eyes... He stayed focused at his task @ hand and was not easily distracted.... Max has many friends in the woods that too... have become characters of mine here at: ~Paint Creek Hill~ They are all the inspiration of my shop and items that I create.
