Welcome to Four Black Paws! All products that you see here are hand made by me right here in the U.S.A. My love for everything dog started in 2007 when I became a dog mom to my Labrador retriever, Leila. I became obsessed with finding cute girl collars for her because if I didn't put her in something "girly" she would be mistaken for a boy. Leila is the love of my life and the inspiration for my business (hence the name "Four Black Paws" *wink**wink*). I take pride in my work and want to provide you with the very best service and product possible. Each piece that you see is made from scratch, by me. All of the collars flowers, bow ties and dog bed covers are cut and hand sewn by myself. It is important to note that all of my products are HAND MADE. This said, no two items are exactly the same! Fabric collar patterns will differ based on the size of the collar and the way in which the fabric is cut. All of my products can be altered to your liking. If you don't see something that you need, please convo me through Etsy and we will get something made up especially for you. I try my hardest to take pictures that are as accurate as possible and I always list sizing in my description. Please make sure that you read THOROUGHLY to ensure that you are purchasing exactly what you want. I've been in that position when I've waited in anticipation for a product just to find out when I open the package that I bought the wrong thing! Payment is currently accepted through Paypal. Your payment is expected within 24 hours of purchase otherwise your order is subject to cancellation.
Before placing your order PLEASE be sure to check to see if your PayPal shipping address is correct. I ship to the PayPal address only! All items are custom made by me at the time of order. That said, please allow 5 to 9 business days from the date of purchase for your order to be custom handmade and shipped to you. Once your item(s) has left my hands, shipping time is in the hands of the US Postal Service. As much as I would love to be able to control the weather and any other shipping delay that could happen, I unfortunately cannot. PLEASE be understanding of this! Domestic Shipping: I ship USPS First Class. All packages shipped within the United States include a tracking number but WITHOUT insurance. This means that in the case that your package is lost due to the mail carrier, I can not take responsibility for this. If you would like to purchase insurance please let me know. I would be happy to arrange that. International Shipping: (INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS - IMPORTANT PLEASE READ) All international packages ship by First Class Mail. Orders can sometimes take up to 8 weeks to be delivered to you. If you would like a faster method please contact us before you make your purchase. If your package is shipped via First Class Mail, it does not include tracking or insurance. International customers are responsible for all duties and customs charges. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Christmas & Holidays: Things get VERY busy around any holiday and I ask that you be gracious with me as I create your special gifts! :) I work extra hard to give you the best customer service I can offer and the best product as well. Please know that you are a priority to me and I will always do my best to show you that! Deadlines for Christmas delivery will always be posted in my announcements near the banner of my page. Normally by the first week of December I am closing in on my GUARANTEED deadlines for US orders(if shipped first class) and November 15th is usually my deadline for International orders. I am ALWAYS happy to upgrade your shipping for you with the necessary payment. Message me if you are ever concerned about your orders being delivered in time. Damage: If the package has been shipped UPS or FedEx, please note damage when signing for the shipment. If damage was concealed, buyer has 5 business days to report the damage to us so a claim can be made. If the package was shipped via US Mail, please notify us within 5 business days of the damage so a claim can be started. Please do not discard any packaging or the damaged item if an item is damaged, as this will be needed to process a claim. If we have shipped the incorrect item, please contact us for additional information on the return and exchange.
Refund & Exchange Policy
At Four Black Paws, customer service is my TOP PRIORITY. Although I certainly hope that you LOVE your product, if there is an issue, please contact me, immediately, so that we can work things out. Collars are NOT pre-made and therefore are made to the sizing that you provide to me at the time of check-out. Please make sure that you measure your fur kid's neck correctly so that you do not end up with a collar that does not fit! RETURNS/EXCHANGES ON DOG COLLARS BOW TIES AND FLOWERS: *If you ordered the wrong size for your pup, you can easily exchange it for a different one. You will need to pay for the difference in sizing if going up in size, shipping of the return/exchange item to me AND for the new item to reach you. Please message me to get the correct size information. *You must contact me within 7 days of receiving your order to ask for a return or exchange for a different size. When I receive the item (which must still be in new, unworn condition), I can either refund you the purchase price (minus shipping and handling) or send you a different size. Returns will not be accepted for custom orders (if you asked for a very specific size, buckle selection or a custom fabric that I ordered specially for you). While I strive to provide the best possible products for your pet, pets are inherently unpredictable. Therefore, I cannot be held liable for any harm that may result from neglect, abuse or misuse of any of my products. Only you can determine the suitability of our products for your beloved pet. I make all items to order, therefore items take approximately 5 to 9 BUSINESS days (not including weekends) AFTER payment clears to be made, and please note that the date of sale DOES NOT count (just so there is no confusion). I say approximately because sometimes life happens. Also if the shipping day falls on a holiday, I will mail it on the next business day. Wholesale orders welcome! Please contact me for more information! Please be sure that all information requested is entered into the "note to seller" at the time of checkout. If all of the information is not included, it could cause the time it takes me to get started on your custom creation to be longer than expected. Collar Size Guidelines: -Extra Small: (5/8" or 3/4" width) Fits 7"-11" neck -Small: (5/8" or 3/4" width) Fits 10"-15" neck -Medium: (5/8"or 3/4" or 1" width) Fits 12"-19" neck -Large: (1" width) Fits 15"-24" neck -Extra Large: (1" width) Fits 17"-29" neck -XX-Large or bigger: Please send us a message Please note: While my collars are created to be very durable any collar will eventually wear out. Please be responsible and change your fur kid's collar when it shows signs of wear. As the customer, and/or purchaser of these products, you are responsible for determining the suitability of any of the items sold by Four Black Paws for your individual situation and assume all responsibility and liability by purchasing these products.
