I donate $2 from every bonus pack sold to the ASPCA.* Rascal is the name of my Applehead Chihuahua. When I started making treats he was 3 months old and was EXTREMELY picky about which dog treats he'll eat. He still is. I've bought every dog treat imaginable to help with training, he didn't like any of them. This is how I started making doggie donuts. Just because they are called donuts doesn't mean they're unhealthy. They have flax seed, which is rich in Omega 3 to help with a shiny coat, heart, and helps prevent joint damage. Flax seed also contains fiber, and you know that's good for. ;) My Doggie Donut Dog Treats also contain creamy peanut butter. Peanut butter is a great source of protein for dogs, and helps with the taste. To add a little sweetness, I also add a touch of honey. Unlike the donuts that humans consume, these donuts are baked, NOT fried. My neighbors also have picky dogs. One is a 5 year old red Pomeranian, who hates all treats, except for mine. The other is a 9 year old white Applehead Chihuahua that is started to get arthritis. Both dogs ate these donuts so quickly it was almost scary. Now when I give them dog treats they grab it and run off with them to enjoy them. It's too funny to watch! If you have any questions about my dog treats please contact me. More recipes coming soon!
