This is a 12" star tetrahedron or Merkaba. The merkaba is the "chariot of light" in the Hebrew language and in a spritiual context, is the vehicle for light travel.
At 12", your won't be able to hop in this one to travel, however it does impart a certain element of energy to the house and user.
