Picture Collage Quilt
This is a version of an eye spy quilt, holding many hours of discovery and learning for children. The picture squares are 3" and 4" and are arranged in 12" blocks separated by yellow and green sashing. The 3" picture squares are arranged in sets of 16 and the 4" picture squares are arranged in sets of 9. This quilt is suitable for either a girl or a boy. I have made several of these quilts as baby gifts and have been told how much fun the children have playing with the quilts. They enjoy pointing out the pictures and naming the items. This quilt can help develop a child's language and communication skills. This quilt measures 43" x 58", large enough for many years of naps and cuddling. It was created using cotton fabric and cotton batting. This quilt was quilted on the diagonal using a bright primary colored variegated cotton thread. If you would prefer a gender specific quilt. This quilt could easily be created for a little boy or a little girl. The last picture is of a special order Picture Collage Quilt that I did for a baby boy.
