As a young boy I always found a fascination with wood. After building my first piece (a violin) at 16 I decided I would like to expand my knowledge of woodcrafting. In my Junior year of high school I got a job at a woodworking establishment pulling nails after school. After some time the head furniture maker began to teach me the trade. He decided I had a real passion for wood and pushed me to become what I am today. I worked for that same Woodworking establishment for 14 years spending the last few years there as head furniture maker and running the place. After the business shut down in 2010 (due to the economy) I decided it was time for me to start my own business. I built my 3000+ sqft shop out next to my house and have been running a successful business for over 3 years. I specialize in custom Mesquite and other solid wood furniture, stair treads, mantels, etc. You name it and I\'ve probably done it. I also have a woodmizer sawmill and cut up logs and beams for others. I am a family man with a beautiful, smart and very supportive wife and two amazing kids.
