From the heart of Bourbon country in central Kentucky. This hand crafted Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Stave Stool. This rugged stool was once part of a barrel that held world famous Kentucky Bourbon Whiskey. This stool was made by Kentucky craftsman Dan Moffett. Dan has been making rustic furniture since 1982. This sturdy rustic stool is made from a genuine white oak Kentucky Bourbon Barrel. The white oak staves are quarter sawn in the Arts and Crafts style. The vintage staves are lightly sanded, the seat top is coated with polyurethane to seal in the char. Each one is unique. Some Bourbon barrels have been in the warehouse longer than others. The one you receive may not look exactly like the one pictured. The stool is 19 inches wide x 27 inches tall and approximately 14 inches deep. Stave stool weighs about 18 pounds.
